Professor Adam Shoemaker

Professor Adam Shoemaker is the Vice-Chancellor and President of Victoria University.

Prior to his current appointment, he was Vice-Chancellor of Southern Cross University, and has held senior leadership roles at a number of other Australian universities including Academic Provost at Griffith University, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) at Monash University and Dean of Arts at the Australian National University. He is one of Australia’s leading researchers in the area of Indigenous literature and culture.

Adam has a compelling vision for the future of Victoria University, and brings an exciting mix of passion, knowledge and innovation. Adam will lead the University in a post COVID-19 world with a renewed commitment to ensuring Victoria University becomes the best dual-sector University in our region as well as globally.

Hannah Gee

Hannah is one of the Innovators in Residence at Victoria University and co-founder of NOW an action focused edu-tec platform helping entrepreneurs take their idea from zero to hero.

Hannah was previously Director of The School of Life Australia a Global Organisation dedicated to building Emotional Intelligence and prior to that Director at Inspire Group where she lead the Sales, Marketing and design functions and helped launch the company into Australia. From leading teams through significant growth to working with over 50 companies to implement a world first Emotional Skills learning suite Hannah has all things purpose and sustainability covered.

Hannah facilitates and designs epic solutions as part of VU Innovations, an important initiative within the University, to stimulate and develop new ideas that create value across a range of multi-disciplinary applications.
