Contact usOpen Day is your chance to explore everything unis like VU have to offer – in person. You can tour our campuses, explore our state-of-the-art facilities, chat with students and teachers, get course advice, attend hands-on workshops and demos, and experience what student life could look like for you! It’s a really valuable experience to getting the inside scoop on campus and life at uni or TAFE in general before you even finish school. It also gives you a great opportunity to apply on the spot for our Early Entry program, or even apply for a course right there and then!

We’ll be opening our doors to Footscray Park Campus on Sunday, 16 August and the VU City Tower on Sunday, 30 August this year! Scroll up to register, and stay tuned for our full line-up announcement soon.
There will be TAFE reps and activities at both of our main campus events, so you’ll be able to explore courses and pathways in person. We’ll also be running a trades-focused Open Night at our Sunshine Campus, on Thursday 22 October. It’s a great way to discover options like pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, and hands-on training options (some free!) Ready to kick start your future? You can absolutely apply direct at VU Open Day – and you could even leave with your next step locked in with a Conditional Offer*. If you've done any study already, just make sure you bring copies of your academic transcript, course completion certificate, and your CV!
If you're a current high school student, you can also apply right then and there for our VU Early Entry program.
*A Conditional Offer is not a full course offer, you'll still need to meet any relevant criteria or pre-requisites (all the conditions) before your place in a course is finalised.
We don’t currently offer a virtual Open Day – and here’s why. Nothing beats getting on campus and experiencing it for yourself, and for us nothing beats getting to meet you in person. From walking through our high-tech labs and learning spaces to meeting the people who could shape your future, Open Day is built to be hands-on and live. Prefer exploring online first?
